I'd hate to buy a Kindle as I've grown up with my newspapers. Their grimey newsprint didn't drive me away, not did their lack of anything but canned AP stories. But the Orlando Sentinel's latest quest for ad revenue may. Each day I have to disgard a gigantic AT&T ad that wraps the front section of the paper in a 1/2 page ad that continues over to the back page. You cannot turn the page since it is only 1/2 the physical size of a normal page. It must be disgarded and it is. My disdain is such that I never glance at any of the message, I just cuss the Sentinel and its management plus AT&T for its stupid sponsorship. My Omaha paper, the World-Herald hasn't stuped to this new low yet and I'm hopeful they never do. If this promotion is active in other newspapers around the country I commiserate with their readers and, ultimately, their stockholders as they will lose readership.
